this autumns 2010 collections. There is a common theme of interesting fabrics running through all the collections. Soft wool dresses with a sheer back of lace from Valentino. A cashmere fine knit dress in silvery grey with carefully placed black stripes and a simple red petersham ribbon around the waist. Slightly higher waisted trousers with pleating at the front from Fabiana Filippi worn with her cleverly designed knitwear some with faux shirts attached. Whilst Moschino Cheap and Chic has done some very cassic tailored dresses and suits, they have still added a softness with frills on the back of the jackets and chiffon around the waist of classic little black dress. Crochet sweaters in super fine wool to go under a suit jacket or to wear tucked into a pretty felt skirt. Lace and taffeta skirts dressed down with the addition of of a cachmere polo. This autumns jeans collection is extensive. Classic dark blue from James but with a good black bootleg jean. Cords from both James and 7 for all mankind will hopefully be snug as well as comfy to wear as the autmn moves into winter, especialy if teamed with a Dom and Ruby fur trimmed hoody!
